I drew these cherubs to hold a quiet, intimate moment — one leaning in to kiss the other’s cheek, the other resting into it with closed eyes. I focused on the softness of their faces and the way their bodies press together, letting the shadows do most of the work. I left parts of the wings and hair unfinished so they feel like they’re still emerging from the paper. For me, it’s about catching a fleeting tenderness that feels fragile and deeply human.
